About a year ago, I stopped charging my patients for dental implants
and here is why I did it. Most implants in the United States are put in
by one dentist and restored by another. Each of those dentists will
charge a fee. That is why the total cost of a dental implant is so
high. I both place and restore the dental implant myself. I'm a Board
Certified Prosthodontist which means I specialize in dental
reconstruction. I place dental implants (over 15,000 of them) as one of
my tools in dental reconstruction for my restorative work to make
crowns and bridges and dentures to replace missing or damaged teeth. I
charge for the restorative work and my patients save a lot of money! |
